Studio shoot with model Cat Candy K – both digital and on film.

Gear: Nikon D850 (digital), Mamiya RZ Pro II, Pentax 67II, Hasselblad 503cx
Film: Kodak Portra 160, Kodak Tri-X 400, Kodak TMX-100
Model: Cat Candy K – Instagram: catcandy_k.

Digital – Nikon D850 85mm 1.4G

Below are film photos only. It was my first time shooting studio strobes with the Pentax 67. Its maximum sync speed is 1/30th which is a bit hard to work with (in terms of controlling the ambient), but – it does work. The strobes were triggered with an Elinchrom Skyport attached to the body. All scans are DSLR scans, negatives converted with Negative Lab Pro 2.1 in Adobe Lightroom. The Hasselblad and Mamiya photos were taken with the Skyport plugged into the lens which lets me shoot with studio strobes at any speed.

Film – Hasselblad 503cx – 180mm – Kodak Tri-X 400

Film – Pentax 67ii 105mm 2.4 – Kodak Portra 160
