Nirvana / Manga
A few photos from a shoot with 14 year old Nirvana and her Manga outfits…
The photos with the white background where shot with two silver umbrellas at the white background (Elinchrom BXRi’s), a white beauty dish with a silver deflector and white diffusion sock above camera and slightly to the left (BXRi 250). And I used a large gridded stripbox on the camera’s right for fill (Ranger RX). One of the photos in the gallery below shows this setup. I also used two bookends to prevent light from the background spilling on Nirvana and to prevent flare. The lighting ratio was about 1.5 stop over on the background, and about 1.5 stop under for fill. The key light (beauty dish) was set at f13.
